CuteCalc is a lightweight, fast and open-source Android calculator app written in Kotlin & Jetpack Compose
? Overview (Version 1)
- Lightweight (~2.7 Mb APK size)
- No permissions needed (Might change in the future)
- Material 3 Design (Still needs some improvements)
- Very fast (~1.5 Mb RAM usage)
? Why ?
I am 15 y/o and have been into computers ever since I was ~10, growing up, I always thought about how software could do anything someone could dream of, so I started learning multiple languages until stepping upon Kotlin. Since then, I’ve learnt and started to build Android apps, and CuteCalc is my first project upon, I hope, alot more.

- Add scientific mode (Not sure about that one) ❌
- Add themes ❌
- Add landscape mode ❌
- Make the app smaller ❌
- Add translations ❌
- Upload it to Google Play Store ❌
