SimpleNotificationBar is an Android library that helps developers to easily create a Notification inside a view group, instead of system view.

How to use it?

Setup

On your module’s build.gradle file add this implementation statement to the dependencies section:

dependencies {
  implementation 'com.github.trieulh-ict:SimpleNotificationBar:x.x.x'
}

Also make sure that Project module includes jitpack:

allprojects {
    repositories {
        ...
        maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
    }
}

Execute in Kotlin

  • You can simply call the Notification and bind it to a view group in one line of code:

SimpleNotificationBar
        .bind(viewGroupInstance, config = SimpleNotificationConfig(maxCount = 2, duration = 3000L))
        .makeText(
            SimpleNotificationArg(
                content = "String content here",
                type = SimpleNotificationType.Success // You can choose another types as Error, Warning.
            )
        )
        .show()
