Simple card app for Udacity’s Android Basics: User Interface course

The purpose of this simple card app was to learn about views, viewgroups, and differences in relative vs linear layouts.
We also modified text values such and textColor, textStyle, textSize, as well as positioning.

This was accomplished through xml, rather than Android Studio’s Layout Editor.

This project represented a couple of firsts for me:

  1. Part of the assignment was to create a two-minute screen capture of the
student walking their way through the code and explaining it to an audience. I discovered Windows 11 has an easy-to-use built-in
recorder called Game Bar that opens with Win+g.

  2. With the uploading of this project I have settled on a naming convention for my GitHub repos: lowercase-with-hyphens

Note: Do not be fooled by the text on the card declaring it to be “so amazing”. It is ever so much more amazing than that.
